Furiosa's War Rig from Mad Max: Fury Road
This is a WIP +/- 1/64th scale model of Furiosa's War Rig from Mad Max: Fury Road. It still needs a paint job.
I built it specifically for use in the table top game Gaslands. This uses Hotwheels-type toy cars.
The only part 3d printed (FDM, designed by me) are the basic wheel shapes, since they are hard to scratchbuild properly. I cast the model's wheels from these, and added the blades to the rear cab wheels and trailer wheels after the fact.
The rear part of the cab (the Chevy Fleetmaster) is vacuum formed with styrene from a model I sculpted, as is the construction on the front of the trailer and the Beetle on the back of the trailer.
The trailer body is built out of a card skeleton covered with a paper mache shell. The rounded front and back caps on the trailer are both made from sculpey.
Most everything else is built out of styrene, including the cow mover in the front, the engine parts and cab chassis. The skulls are casts made from a 2mm master skull I sculpted. The flags on the back are wire covered with torn baby wipe and tissue paper. The two guns are casts that I made from scratchbuilt weapons I made myself. The smoke stacks on the cab are drilled pieces of styrene tube, reinforced with aluminium wire.

So many teeny skulls. Resin cast from a sculpted 2mm master skull.

The Chevy Fleetmaster, vacuum formed from the resin buck. I sculpted the buck in Sculpey, then refined the shape from Monster Clay and finally cast it in resin.
This was the Flynn fire truck that I started with. It is from the Mattel Thomas the Tank Engine range.
